The TOD (time of day) is set up for the level, with color changing and fog, day and night cycle. Adding graphic props for the city. I'll be making a video soon, to show the atmosphere of the game. In the meantime here is a screen at night.

I have done 2 Levels Of Detail (Lod) and the collision mesh on for the light poles (normal, broken and destroyed ), also on the big building and fences with ivy and Lods, and made traffic signs and ivy with Lods and collision. In all I could save 20 fps in the street. Before Lods it was running at around 20 fps and now around 40 fps. I'm starting now the modeling of a hightech photovoltaic panel for the Light poles...

I was working all week on the optimization of each object of the scene, making LODs and fixing bugs. The city will be running much faster now. I still have some buildings to adjust though. I was also making the sewer entrance and a ladder to access the city underground. the ladder is working when going up but I still have problems to go down. This will be fixed later on. I also started the modeling of the first props, that will be crafted by a player class. I have added painted lines on the roads, like pedestrian path and stop marks.

This week update: - Added electric cable support on buildings. - Making of the inside of the buildings, walls and floors. - Added doors for the rooms in the buildings - Worked on the buildings windows, and building LODs. - Added dirt on the building facades. - Here the first look at the photovoltaic panel, work in progress.

This week update: - Added ivy on the electric poles and cables. - Done all the Prefabs of the buildings with the functional doors, Stairs ramps, and occluder panels for optimization, and I have replaced them in the scene. - Made and added in the scene new props for the roofs: Water tanks, roof exit door, and two antennas. - Made and added few distant clouds. - Made the sewer border on the sidewalk and a sewer grid.

This week update: - Made few barricades with wooden pallets, planks, doors, etc... - Built up few new neighborhoods in the city. - Made a lake to build an oasis (need to make trees). - Made two gates (small and big) for the big building fences. - Made new fences around the big building. - Made a new area with buildings under water with possibility to go swiming inside.

This week update: - Made a plant Aloe vera. - Made few different wallpapers for the inside of the buildings. - Made chairs, table and buffet. Most of the objects like the tables and the chairs have physics applyed to them, and can be moved and pushed by players. Also there is a new developer joining Uayeb project for making the sound effects! I will update the Developer page of the Uayeb site soon.

This week update: - Made a new Aloe vera. - Made a yucca plant. - Made few different cactus. - Made a yucca palm tree. - Worked on the oasis area. - Added details on the rock textures. - Added flying birds. - Added areas on each dangerous plants that damage the player when he is touching them. - All the new plants are moving with the wind and are bending when the player touch them.

There will be no more weekly updates for a while. As I have to move the project from the Cryengine Free SDK to the Cryengine Licensed version. Which means re-doing all the shaders, doing some work on the scene and textures. Then I have to work on the game structure and resources. To be continued... Hello, the development is going well but no much to show at the moment. The last months were spent in making the structure of the game. Now the core of the game has been built up, like all the menus are done, the HUD is done and functionality of the surviving gameplay is working fine. This week I will be starting to build up the beginning of the game.

Hello, I'm not updating much the forum as I'll wait for more members. When there will be enough people on the forum I'll update it more often.
